Is Online Therapy right for you?
Most individuals, couples and families benefit from online counseling/psychotherapy as it is convenient, affordable and most insurance plans cover it. However, those with more severe mental illness may need a higher level of care. Further, those who have very poor Internet service or older devices may not have good quality sessions so please check your service and the efficiency of the device you will be using. Please contact us if you are concerned whether online therapy is right for you. and what your options are.
Choose your therapist
Finding a therapist who best meets your needs can sometimes be challenging as you consider their fees, insurance accepted, years of experience, treatment modalities, therapy approach, specialties, what ages and specific populations, availability and their unique personalities. This is why we offer a free 15 minute consultation to address these concerns or ask more questions. Also, if you try one therapist and you're not a good fit, you can switch to another therapist. If still unsure, contact us for more information.
Fees, and Insurance
Therapy doesn't have to be expensive. We accept several insurance plans and have some discounted rates for those who qualify. There are also therapies that are designed to be effective but take less time than other forms of therapy, which is also helpful. Additionally, many employers offer free counseling sessions with EAP services. If you want to know more about options available to you, contact your insurance company or employer or contact us to consider possible options. Please review the therapist's fees and insurance as not everyone takes the same insurance or charges the same.
